High Academe Elect

The High Academe Elect of New Sanctaphrax or Most High Academe Elect of New Sanctaphrax[1] was the elected leader of New Sanctaphrax. He was part of the High Council of New Sanctaphrax.

Nate Quarter held the role of the High Academe Elect during the events of The Descenders. He held this position even during a 14-year absence on his fourth descent. It can, however, be presumed that his wife Eudoxia really took over his functions, as his main interest was descending and not running New Sanctaphrax.
