Fluted Decline

The Fluted Decline was the depth at which the Edge cliff ceased to be an overhanging or vertical face and became a steep slope. Only two descent expeditions sent by the School of Edge Cliff Studies reached the Fluted Decline, and of the two, only one of those expeditions reached the bottom of the decline.
