Crote

Crote was a seasoned fourthling mire-pearler who fought in the Battle of the Farrow Ridges in Doombringer. He protected, drove a phraxship for, and did the manual labor for the two academics of the Great Glade Academy of Flight who were setting up the explosives in the Five Falls. Crote fought to stop Cade Quarter when he tried to sabotage the academics' efforts, and was about to shoot Cade, but at the last moment the white trogs intervened and killed Crote with a crystal spear.
