Cloddertrogs were a sentient variety of trog.

Characteristics

Cloddertrogs were natural cave-dwellers and miners. They were broad-shouldered, barrel-chested, and prodigiously strong.[1] They were also lumpen, and had bloodshot eyes and large yellow teeth[2].

Society

Settlements

Cloddertrogs in the Deepwoods lived a nomadic existence[3]. However, in the First Age of Flight a significant population of cloddertrogs lived permanently in the boom-docks of Undertown, and some also settled down in the Cloddertrog Caves in the Free Glades[2]. The Cloddertrog Guards were a security force in the Free Glades, alongside the Librarian Knights and the Freeglade Lancers[citation needed].

Funeral Customs

Tradition decreed that dead cloddertrogs be buried[4].

Food

There was a traditional cloddertrog recipe for cooking sweetbread[5].

Other

In the Third Age of Flight, cloddertrogs formed the Cloddertrog Constabulary, a law enforcement agency of Great Glade[6].
