Blackroot

Blackroot was a poisonous plant found in the Deepwoods. In the early First Age of Flight, Quode Quanx-Querix used blackroot ink when writing about the Endless Winter of Sanctaphrax. But blackroot could also be used to cause harm, Blackroot oil could be used to make toxic darts that, when shot, instantly killed any living target. Golderayce One-Eye used a dart tipped in blackroot oil at Riverrise against intruders and finally against himself in The Immortals.
