Blackherons

Blackherons were birds—similar to pied herons, reed herons and mire-herons—found in the Deepwoods. They had a shrill cry. Keris Verginix and Grefphith spotted a blackheron flying close to the surface of the Mirror of the Sky at Four Lakes.[1]
