DVD Flick Video Encoding is usually slow?

0

I tried to burn my movies using DVD Flick, but when it's burning, it takes so much time to encode the videos.

I select the Bitrate as Auto Fit, and encoding as Normal. Is it normal to take so much time to encode videos before burning disc in DVD Flick? I have tried nothing yet!

You should define what "so much time" means. If it takes you 10 minutes, it's pretty good. If it takes you 10 days, something's wrong. But video encoding is always time-consuming. – Valmiky Arquissandas – 2014-08-05T08:24:41.240

if i burn 1 movie it will takes about 1 hour , and if i burn 4 movies it will takes almost a day! – Mithila – 2014-08-05T08:33:24.027

yea now it would help to know the general specs of the machine. A good 2 pass encode for a 90min movie and write to dvd could take an hour or more even, slopping it out and writing it fast would take less :-) If it is doing an exceptional job, is very compatable with what you play it on, then that is ok sounding. – Psycogeek – 2014-08-05T09:20:38.587

I said , what are the specs on your computer? and doing things well takes time. It is not an unreasonable time for accomplishing that task. – Psycogeek – 2014-08-08T02:24:15.653
