I have made a lot of research about that, but still no luck.
I'm behind a router so I got the specific ports forwaded. Once I create the game on AoF it shows my private IP, when I use GameRanger the game uses the correct IP, I mean the public; so maybe there's a way to do it. When I give my public IP plus the port, my friends can't connect to the game, theoretically, forwading the port is enough, but not. I don't want to use GameRanger, Voobly, Hamachi or any other easy solutions I want the correct way.
Any ideas?
1The correct way and only thing required is to forward your ports. – Ramhound – 2014-06-28T04:36:14.427
Thanks for reply, I'll try again, because I think that DirectPlay is the problem, maybe my friends doesn't have it installed – LeiffHasselhoff – 2014-06-29T19:25:53.727
If he didn't have DirectPlay ( i.e. Direct X ) the game wouldn't even start. – Ramhound – 2014-06-29T20:57:49.750
