Using Task Scheduler to Run a Task possibly using event id.. i guess

I have created a task which runs on daily basis at startup, and set the computer BIOS to automatically start at 9:00 AM everyday.

Also, set the powerloss - last state (this only works when the PC is ON)

It runs prefect, but the problem i recently faced was when there was a power failure before the computer started.

Example: PC auto starts at 9:00 AM everyday. Power loss at 8:00 AM or say anytime before the computer BIOS is set to start. Power back at 9:30 AM Now, PC wont start until someone press the power button

I am looking for a solution to this, it should automatically start the PC whenever power comes back/power is restored.

Looking for the solution because nobody there to handle this PC physically, i'm using it remotely.

Can anyone help me solve this issue please.. Thanks in advance!

Perhaps set Powerloss to Always Start? – Ƭᴇcʜιᴇ007 – 2013-10-12T19:18:48.357

Can you divulge more information about your PC, mainly the motherboard? Whatever the answer, it will rely on the options provided by the BIOS. In another thought, you could try and send a magic packet every minute until the receiving PC sent you a signal back.
