DnsMAsq and Samba

About dns-masq config on tomato or alike.

I have two networks on the same router. IE: 192.168.1.1 (br0) and 192.168.2.1 (this last is is for guest only and linked with br1)

This is my current custom configuration without domain=lan.domain.net

local=/lan.domain.net/
domain-needed
bogus-priv
strict-order
no-hosts
expand-hosts
cache-size=2048
log-async=25

Box is W10 with SMB1 enabled. And NSLOOKUP...

C:\Users\Linuxser>nslookup router
Server:  UnKnown
Address:  192.168.1.1

Name:    router
Address:  192.168.2.1

Why dns-masq does not reply to nslookup that router is at 192.168.1.1 which is on dhcp range of my current pool?

192.168.2.1 is the guest network dhcp, not routerĀ“s ip

Why Server says: Unknown? if router's name is already set

I also have one disk drive attached to usb port shared over the network but I can't make samba browsing works if "domain=lan.domain.net" is added on config. Interesting, only router share is affected. Browsing to any other Windows shares just works with and without "domain=lan.domain.net".

However, accessing router's share does work fine by manually writing router's ip or by changing dns-masq config to

domain=.lan.domain.net.

But, If I do that (adding the .) nslookup stop working. Is there any way to appedn the . only for 192.168.0.1 ?
