Remotely booting through VeraCrypt full disk encryption

0

Here's my situation. I have left my computer running over Christmas and flew home with the intent on using MS Remote Desktop and SSH to access it. I was putting it to sleep remotely and then waking it using Wake-On-Lan whenever I wanted to use it.

The OS drive on the system is using full drive encryption from VeraCrypt so whenever the OS reboots, just after BIOS finishes, I need to enter a password with a keyboard for Windows to boot.

It worked flawlessly until an family member (with an IQ apparently below room temperature) knowingly remotely rebooted my computer from here. Thus leaving it stuck at the stage at which it is waiting for keyboard input to boot into Windows.

My question is: Is there any way I can remotely enter the VeraCrypt password and allow the OS to boot?

The system is a Gigabyte AORUS X399 motherboard with a first-gen Threadripper. Port forwarding on the router can me managed remotely by me and it's connected to the router via ethernet on a Killer Network E2500 onboard the motherboard.

Call a neighbor to restart it, or turn off and then on the AC mains (assuming you don't have a UPS)? – DrMoishe Pippik – 2019-12-26T03:58:58.107
