Is there a way to share a microphone over the internet?

So I have a computer at school, it is quite bad but it's my only laptop which is allowed at school. I'm currently using Gamestream and Moonlight to connect to my home desktop but I want some way to use my microphone in-game. Is there some way to share my microphone from my laptop to my desktop? Also, I can't port forward at school and I want low latency so I want the desktop as the server. (Unless you can find a way to do it so I don't have to port forward and have a direct connection)

(Also I would preferably want it to be free and work with Non-USB microphones.)
