I cannot change Windows 7 date and time (not programmatically). A few months ago I used this https://www.thewindowsclub.com/prevent-users-changing-date-time-windows-10 on my Windows 7 computer to prevent user changing system date and time.
The way I did was setting PreventUserOverrides=1 in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Control Panel\International
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Control Panel\International
After that when I attempt to change system date and time it shows the picture below. Today I want to remove that restriction so I changed PreventUserOverrides=0 back and rebooted but it still showed the picture below again. I've also tried the followings (all with a reboot) but all failed:
Enter safe mode
Delete PreventUserOverrides key
Change date and time using CMD
I am still unable to change the date and time no matter what I do.
