Samhain (Windows/Cygwin) - Cannot assign requested address

Question

I'm trying to set up a samhain client on Windows through Cygwin, but after running samhain -t init, I get msg=<Cannot assign requested address>, subroutine=<bind>.

This doesn't make much sense to me since samhain should (of my knowledge) need to assign or set any address.

My configure parameters are ./configure --enable-login-watch --enable-network=client --enable-port-check, and I've set the SetLogServer-field in samhainrc.

So far I've tried disabling portcheck, and looking through the source code for the error message. I can't seem to find any other relevant logging than /var/log/samhain_log.
