have a large amount of testing data in excel format that I need to do capability analysis on minitab. The data is laid out as follows...
Product Size Dependent Variable 1 Dependent variable 2 …
and so forth. I could do a capability analysis on a whole column of dependent variable 1 but I'd also like to be able to the capability analysis on each subgroup of the dependent variables as defined by the product size column. So one product size is one subgroup and another would be a different and etc. Does minitab have any way of automating this or am I stuck filtering by each size individually and manually do a capability analysis every time I filter?
