I have an Apache server with htaccess settings that redirects all traffic from www.example.com towards example.com. Then, I started using Google Search Console. However, after setting up the TXT DNS, I discovered that visiting www.example.com no longer redirects towards example.com. Instead, Google's 404 page is popping up. Any way to fix this?
