Putty sends double Enter (CR) when Enter is pressed

0

Whenever I press enter in Putty it sends a double enter. enter image description here

On my other PC the Telnet connection to the end device works perfectly.
It must be a problem with this particular Putty session.

Things I've already tried:

  1. Terminal -> Implicit Cr in every LF and Implicit LF in every CR
  2. Telnet -> Return key sends Telnet New Line instead of ^M

1The fact that the word "test" appears twice looks like you have half-duplex enabled but the switch expects full-duplex (which is normal). The difference is that full-duplex expects the remote side to echo the characters while half-duplex displays the typed characters locally before sending them to the remote side which then should not echo them. – wurtel – 2019-07-30T08:59:01.843
