I was recently required to passphrase protect my private SSH key and now I cannot connect NetBeans to our remote web servers using that key. Everything worked before and I expected NetBeans would just ask for the passphrase when I tried to connect but it does not. When I try to connect I just get "Invalid Private Key" I've also tried adding the passphrase in the Password box on the Remote Connection configuration screen but I'm pretty sure that's for username/password authentication and not for keys and it didn't work anyway.
I've tried to find information online but it seems pretty scarce or at least hard to find. It seems that NetBeans supports this but I have found no troubleshooting information on it.
I'm using NetBeans IDE 8.2 (Build 201609300101) running on Mac Mojave macOS 10.14.5 (18F132)
Can anyone help?
