When you create your own app, the users you give access to log into this, the app authenticates with Azure Active Directory (AAD) to get the access token, which is then used to pull back the power bi visuals into the app to display as an iframe.
It is not a requirement for the users of your app to have a licence for power bi of any sort.
What I don't understand is how is the app authenticating with AAD if the users that are logging into your app dont have AAD accounts/power bi licences etc?
