I am an IT enthusiast with about 25 years of experience.

Started out with a Commodore VIC20 and got my first taste of coding in Commodore Basic. Well, if you wanted to do anything with most computers at that time - you had no other option aside from buying cartridges.

Eventually moved on to the 'IBM clone' concept and learned to master MS-DOS and Windows 3.11, along with Novell, and a smattering of Solaris 2.x and RedHat back in the 'day' (circa 1995).

After 24 years or so of Windows/VMWare administration, I finally managed to break back into the Unix/Linux world. PowerShell turned me on to Object Oriented coding, I couldn't look back! When I made the move into Unix at my company, my only real requirement to be happy was if they were fine with me coding in Python! I feel at home now! ;)

Somehow they tacked Ansible on to my plate. Just keep it quiet that I completely enjoy that too ;)

Love to script, wish I was better! But that's why I'm here!
