I've been programming since I got a Commodore VIC-20; fast forward about thirty years, I'm a development manager for a Big Enterprise Software Company that you've heard of. For years, I was in the professional services organization, working onsite with big companies (retailers, finance, media, and telcom) all around the world. Offices look the same pretty much everywhere. More recently, I was a member of the development team, maintaining and enhancing a machine-learning-based SaaS offering with a mix of mostly Java and Ruby.

On the side, I like to work with Scala and the Play Framework.
