Long time listener, first time caller... I've used Stackoverflow information frequently when searching for insights into issues, but have only just recently joined the community. I've been in the computer gig longer than there's been Linux, Windows or Apple and have worked on or with a wide variety of systems, hardware, operating systems, network types and programming languages, picking up bits and pieces along the way. Mostly a Unix guy, but I dabble in Mac (especially the command-line stuff or Unix-on-mac stuff) and in Windows when I have to.
