I'm a consultant based on Bainbridge Island, Washington, focused on helping larger corporations integrate new technical acquisitions and general software development. I previously worked for 15 years at Microsoft, where I was Director of the Emerging Practices team within Microsoft's Engineering Excellence group, and spent 12 years in various development roles on the Microsoft Office team. I have a BS in Computer Science from Northwestern University (1980).
