My day job is to manage the care and feeding of a general use compute cluster for a BioMedical Research center. While my current role is heavy on linux servers, high-end networking, and large storage, in the past I have worked at a small ISP, K-12 Education, and another advanced research center.

This has resulted in a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. Because I know a little about a lot of things and have been exposed to products and technology from so many different vendors.

In my off time I am a bit of a navigation geek. Geocaching, orienteering, location based games, and pretty much anything that involves a map.
