I have over 9 years of experience as a linux systems administrator of ubuntu and debian. During a lot of that time I have been both a software developer and system administrator which led me to becoming a deployment engineer and site reliability engineer. The main languages I have written in are python, perl, bash, and erlang. The deployment systems I have used vary from simple scripts to install files, to the more advanced use of Puppet, Juju, Terraform and Cloud Formation. Additionally, I have considerable technical sales and support experience working with diverse customers and coworkers, from sales and management to engineers and developers, which allows me to communicate with customers at various technical levels.
