Daniel Denney is an accomplished IT professional with over a decade of technical experience. He currently serves as the primary DBA for a major telecom provider in Southern California.

Dan started his career using such technologies as FoxPro, Cold Fusion, and classic ASP (if you want to go back to where it really started, the Commodore VIC-20). He quickly developed a knack for database design and implementation and moved into database administration with an emphasis on helping other programmers design, tune, and implement databases for their applications.

In addition to his DBA duties, Dan has taken on the additional roles of SharePoint administrator, MS BI stack administrator, and on occasion will dive into the dark side to develop Oracle solutions.

Dan's specialties include system architecture, designing and implementing OLTP and OLAP solutions, and performance tuning.
