I started coding in 1997 when my Battalion needed a way to get daily data to each Battery commander. I began coding with CGI in Perl in 1999. I've been fulfilling clients' needs with PHP since 2003. In 2005 I worked on the Architectural Compliance Board at Marshall Space Flight Center. I wrote some bash scripts that interacted with PHP/MySQL to figure out which of 100's of websites were generating 404 errors. The daily 404 count before I began was over 10,000 file not found hits per day. We reduced that to under 1,000 per day before I moved to ICGLink, where I worked from 2008 to 2012 for the cordial and intelligent, Jack Massari. I managed programmers at a startup called Moontoast that put Facebook posts up for big companies like P&G. Then I decided programming from my couch was the life for me and signed on with Toptal where I've been since 2014 loving the clients the work and the ability to work from anywhere on the planet.
