Stumbled into being a Linux Sysadmin after over a decade of Windows work. Amazing how that old experience with Solaris, experimenting with Linux at home, and general willingness to use a shell can open up a career opportunity.

I still use Windows for my gaming computer. Android for phone/tablet. CentOS for the home lab. We even have a Surface in the house. Added a couple of MacBooks this year. So I'm generally a fan of using the right solution for a given use case.

Currently trying to push a rope, aka guide the organization to using devops and agile principles, without any leadership role or authority.
