I am a mechanical engineer with strong bounds to the digital world. I like solving problems within my domain with the best available tools (meaning also programming languages).

Reflecting my work and study experience, I came across many languages, notably C, C++, Fortran, Java, Matlab. For rapid prototyping, I mostly stick to Python. I like to experiment and challenge the way of thinking when solving engineering problems. Currently I experiment with some languages/tutorials from the book Seven More Languages in Seven Weeks. My favorites are Factor and miniKanren, although I give Lua, Julia and Elixir a good chance.

I am not a computer scientists or hardcore programmer. But I have a strong need to understand the roots of everything, preferably in the technical domain (well, fortunately I can share some success in the social world as well, although the logics are way more difficult thereā€¦).
