I used to be a physicist but then got tricked into supporting the computing infrastructure of a lab and thus begun my career as a SysAdmin. Since I was spending more and more time doing computer science, I did a Master's in it a now pursuing my PhD (still ain't sure if this was a good call).

Some of the things I'm interested in are: Big Data Analytics, Python for Data Science (and in general), Functional Programming, Emacs, and Reproducible Research.
