I have been programming C++ ex- and intensively for 15 years in a professional capacity; it still remains my favourite programming language and I am quite glad it seems in for a popularity boost lately.
Over the last two decades I've also been forced had the privilege to get acquainted deeply with C#/.Net, Java, PHP and *shudder* Morph X++.
The problems I work on usually orbit around the gravity wells of web/database and ERP/interface, but I've done a bit of (high abstracton level = easy) hardware programming, too, usually when integrating scanners, printers or obscure machine controllers into bigger systems.
I spin my yarn over at http://tumblr.philosophtware.com/ and when I'm exceptionally bored or it rains, I might pipe up at @philosophtware.
