Howdy! I was born and raised in Oklahoma. I owned and operated Oklahoma's third largest local ISP for 8 years, and was the first person in Oklahoma to get ADSL in my home, and the first company to provide wireless connections to businesses.
I moved to SF in 2007, and live in Orinda, CA with my wife, and two kids. I have 11TB of storage in my basement running off an old 4U box running Ubuntu. I'm also into hardware hacking, fixing cars, and flying R/C airplanes.
I'm currently the CEO and a founder of Loggly, a SaaS based log file management company. I know a fair bit about networking, load balancing, server configuration and storage.
