I've been a software developer since the good old days: Apple II, C64 (Freeze Frame), AMIGA (MC68000 assembler programming with some copper fun) and then the PC platform (80486 DX-50 and all subsequent generations). The development of hardware and software was quite a ride, and to this day I enjoy the technical marvels that many of my IT colleagues have brought or will bring to this world.

With this background I really like to focus on the many security challenges the IT industry as the backbone of our society has to face. For certification bodies I am auditing IT infrastructures according to ISO 27001 and many other standards. This for sure will teach me something new tomorrow...
