Ken began his career in software at age 8 on a Commodore VIC-20, making his mom laugh with silly BASIC programs that did nothing in particular. Writing a bunch of x86 real mode assembly with TASM in high school solidified him as a programmer and made selection of an engineering discipline for his college pursuits a foregone conclusion. He has continued to work for the benefit of numerous good people in numerous industries since graduation with few regrets. Ken is an old school hacker at heart who has developed a penchant for rigorous software engineering. His developer workstation runs Linux and will have a maximized terminal window running screen, vim, the latest GNU C++ compiler, and cscope.
