I am an IT architect, computer scientist, consultant, author, programmer and sysadmin. I currently work as Enterprise Security Architect at Swisscom. I have over 30 years of experience in system administration and security, and have worked in both the applied and theoretical sides of the computer science field. I hold a Ph.D. from Purdue University, worked as a sysadmin at a supercomputer center, as a researcher at the IBM Zurich Research Lab, as a consultant at HP Enterprise Services, and at CFEngine as a Senior Security Advisor and Product Manager. I am the author of multiple books, including Learning CFEngine, Learning Hammerspoon and Literate Configuration. I live in Switzerland.
