Do SharePoint farms have to be on the same service pack to share Shared Services?
I have a parent farm on MOSS 2007 SP1. I'd like to share the parent's SSP search service with a child farm on MOSS 2007 SP2. But, I'm having trouble crawling content from the parent farm. Could it be a problem with the service pack levels?

SSP Admin point to new contentdb in SharePoint 2007
I have made in MOSS2007 an contentdb attachment through the UI. Now I have found out that my ssp admin isn't working anymore. Is there a way to attach again the ssp admin to the new contentdb?
