GATEWAY=172.19.19.5
The cluster services are:
1 Oracle database
1 Virtual ip address "172.19.19.164"
For the past five years all works perfectly , with the following routing table:
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags MSS Window irtt Iface
172.19.19.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 bond0
169.254.0.0 * 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 bond0
default 172.19.19.5 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 bond0
Last night somebody enable on a firewall appliance "pfense" the rip protocol and the oracle server starts to nor respond.
Finally we discovered that enabling the virtual ip cluster service, after few second a new default route appeared.
The routing table become:
172.19.19.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 bond0
169.254.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 bond0
0.0.0.0 172.19.19.11 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 bond0
0.0.0.0 172.19.19.5 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 bond0
172.18.19.11 is the pfsense appliance ip
We resolved with a route del 0.0.0.0. gw 172.19.19.11
Neither "routed , or "gated" was installed or running on the two cluster node.
It seems that the cluster listen the broadcasted "routing table" from pfesese.
Is it possible?
Thank you for help
