I have been trying to fix my mail server for 3 days now. I'm not really new to Debian and Apache and such but I am new to Dovecot and Postfix.

At this point I have set up the virtual users and the authentication and that all works. I manage it through postfixadmin. There is no problem there and I am able to log in to the roundcube interface without a problem. I THINK Dovecot is working fine as it doesn't really give me errors in the logs.

Postfix doesn't really seem to matter what I do to it. It simply refuses to send or receive ANY mail. If I send mail I get either a timeout or a useless authentication failed error in the logs. If I email myself from gmail I get

I noticed it said that my server name was listed 2x. I searched through my config many times and it is listed once. I even commented out that one listing and I still got the error.

Sorry for the messy config file. Part of the problem is that I have to do all of this config from my Nexus 7 tablet.

Whoa... There are many errors here. Let's break it down one by one.

error: open database /etc/postfix/sender_access.db: No such file or directory

Looks like in the past you have set /etc/postfix/sender_access in main.cf and forget to run postmap /etc/postfix/sender_access.

warning: do not list domain mail.myserver.space in BOTH mydestination and virtual_mailbox_domains

I noticed it said that my server name was listed 2x. I searched through my config many times and it is listed once. I even commented out that one listing and I still got the error.

If you commented out the parameter, then the value of parameter will became default. The default value of `mydestination is

mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, localhost

And because myhostname = mail.mydomain.space, then postfix still warn above messages.

Permanent solution, set mydestionation became

mydestination = localhost.$mydomain, localhost

NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from mail-qg0-f47.google.com[209.85.192.47]: 554 5.7.1 : Client host rejected: A$

Truncated error, so we can't see reason why client is rejected.
