I use vagrant to create my development vm. I exported the vmdk to vdi, and then convert the vdi to img.
cd virtualbox_dir/test_vm
VBoxManage clonehd test_vm.vmdk raw.vdi
0% ..... 100%
qemu-img convert raw.vdi raw.img
virsh create testvm.xml
But I am getting no bootable device.
In my XML, the boot device is set to hd. I basically copy from an existing, running XMK. I am taking over this work from a previous lab student so it isn't clear to me how he manage to produce the vm before.
Any idea what could go wrong? Thanks.
