I have created ubuntu vm on centos 5.7 server using virtualbox. There is not any issue of connecting remote desktop. But my problem is I cant figure out how to setup connection between host and guest os so that guest os(Ubuntu 10.04 server) can access internet of host os (centos 5.7).

Below is my few commands output.

VBoxManage showvminfo "Ubuntu 10.04.4.1 Server" --details

If you just want to access the internet of the host, change the virtual network adapter type for the guest from "Bridged" to "NAT". If for some reason your guest needs to be accessed from the same network as the host, you can adjust the NAT settings to forward certain ports to the guest.

From your logs it looks like your guest is not getting assigned an IP address on the bridged adapter for some reason. If you need to have a persistent connection with the guest and host, I would recommend adding a second virtual NIC set to Host-Only mode.
