We use Duralabel printers from Graphic Products for some of our labeling which works fine on Windows workstations however is unsupported for Linux. Their tech support has provided a PPD driver and installer script however the print jobs stop without completing.

I've ran cupstestppd -W all which gave the following:

FAIL REQUIRED DefaultJobStart
REF: Page 40, section 4.5.
FAIL REQUIRED DefaultLabelStart
REF: Page 40, section 4.5.
FAIL REQUIRED DefaultLabelEnd
REF: Page 40, section 4.5.
FAIL REQUIRED DefaultJobEnd
REF: Page 40, section 4.5.
FAIL REQUIRED DefaultFile
REF: Page 40, section 4.5.

I assume this is referring to this section of the driver:

*OpenUI *JobStart/Start of Job Command: PickOne
*OrderDependency: 330 AnySetup *JobStart
*DefaultJobStart:
*JobStart /None: "%%"
*CloseUI: *JobStart
*OpenUI *LabelStart/Start of Label Command: PickOne
*OrderDependency: 340 AnySetup *LabelStart
*DefaultLabelStart:
*LabelStart /None: "%%"
*CloseUI: *LabelStart
*OpenUI *LabelEnd/End of Label Command: PickOne
*OrderDependency: 350 AnySetup *LabelEnd
*DefaultLabelEnd:
*LabelEnd /None: "%%"
*CloseUI: *LabelEnd
*OpenUI *JobEnd/End of Job Command: PickOne
*OrderDependency: 360 AnySetup *JobEnd
*DefaultJobEnd:
*JobEnd /None: "%%"
*CloseUI: *JobEnd
*OpenUI *File/File to print to: PickOne
*OrderDependency: 370 AnySetup *File
*DefaultFile:
*File /None: "%%"
*CloseUI: *File

I've tried looking for documentation on what to use for these defaults without any luck and have attempted a few different values as guesses however those then reported bad value and still caused the job to stop.

Any help getting the driver to work would be much appreciated.

Edit: I've also reported the above back to their tech support however due to being unsupported no further assistance will be given.
