I've followed this tutorial to set up RAID 1 during the installation of Ubuntu Server 22.04. During the installation, it always fails with a RAID validation error. (I also tried with Ubuntu 20.04).
Debian can be configured with the same RAID successfully and it can complete the setup.

  • sometimes using `wipefs` may required that it works. but need more details. but if we get them after 8 years? – djdomi Sep 14 '22 at 04:49
