Prometheus' node exporter has 2 metrics named as node_memory_AnonHugePages_bytes and node_memory_AnonPages_bytes. What do these measure?
For a object detection flask app that ran across a bare metal server, a VM on hyper-v and a VM on ESXi, the node_memory_AnonHugePages_bytes in the case of ESXi was extremely less. Is there any explanation for this behaviour? There doesn't seem to be any reference for this.
This question might come out as a naive one but I'm a newbie in this domain and I'm trying to understand application behaviours on different platforms. Any pointers in this regard would be extremely helpful.
