I would like your help making a decision on the following: We have a local SQL server and we would like to sync to either Azure SQL on VM or Managed Instance using Sync Framework 2.1.
From what I understand, the framework would work only on Azure SQL (PaaS) not managed instances. Is this confirmed?
Also, If we opt-in for the Azure-hosted SQL on VM, would the framework work?
