Was previously a webserver / db admin at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, and seemed to be the only person who pushed back against GSA's HTTPS Only unfunded mandate, but got blown off. (and has since been proven right on all but one of my predictions)

Been doing programming / sysadmin type stuff professionally since ~1995 (back to Solaris 2.5.1 & older SunOS); 14 years at NASA, much of it managing systems on the IONet or a network w/ similar issues ... but had the title 'sysadmin' revoked when GSFC decided that anyone not solely a sysadmin lost the title so they could manipulate a metric they had gotten dinged for.
