I work as, with and for embedded automotive software engineers - currently working on Dev Ops type projects and previous on camera video chains.

Personal projects include a Forth for RISC-V SBCs. I'm a past contributor the the Linux kernel.

Have a PhD in real time computing from the University of York (thesis on virtual memory on multicore) and an MSc in Computer Science from Birkbeck (disertation on memory management in the Linux kernel). The latter has been cited rather more than the former!
