I'm a sw developer with 19 years of experience, most of it in Java back-ends. For about 5 years a part-time front-end JavaScript developer. In the past, I also used to write C/C++, Visual Basic and some niche telco DSLs.

In my work I strive for simple and by-the-book solutions. Stackoverflow is a great place to help find ones. I also enjoy helping, as I remember how lost I was when I was making my first awkward steps in Java EE.

My initial Stackoverflow zeal has somewhat cooled down since I joined. I only answer a few questions a year; I'm still active as a reader and verifier.
