I'm the founder of a little software company, Eight Bit Software. For as long as I can remember I've loved programming. My first computer was an Atari 800XL, on which I coded my first BASIC program at the age of eight. In the late 80s, I moved on to modifying WWIV BBS software using a C compiler that I purchased from Babbage's with $80 in change. Nowadays, I work mostly developing web, desktop, and server applications for an enterprise user-base of over 30,000 people, and of course I freelance for a number of small business clients.
