I started coding in TRS-BASIC in 1978, moved up to FORTRAN-IV on old DEC systems, and my cognitive sponge has (inexplicably) absorbed just about everything that has rained down since.
My training is in philosophy and critical theory, so my core skills are problem-modeling and problem-solving. If it's computer-related, great -- I already know a lot about that, so my learning curve will be less steep than for other problems, say, world peace.
