I enjoy wearing different hats, the challenge of learning new things and seeing things from a different perspective. It keeps life interesting and helps me stay a quick learner.
I am currently a security engineer for a large university supporting their security event management program.
Previous to this, I held various positions (developer with network admin responsibilities, DBA and reporting developer, security mentor / application scanner for a development team, and finally I.T. manager) in a consolidated, Microsoft focused environment supporting the business units of a large university.
Before that I was a Unix/Network administrator with shared responsibilities for the Window's servers for an academic department within a large university.
